The location was perfect for an overnight stop on the way to the Italian lakes.
Although the food was good, it was very expensive and wasn't value for money. The hotel was very noisy with families and young children constantly screaming and shouting. As we were a couple without children, this was not our idea of a peaceful overnight stay. But the families all seemed to be having a good time. The restaurant was also very brightly lit and it felt a bit like butlins holiday camp atmosphere ! To get from the rooms to the reception area, you had to pass through the lifts - literally ! So you had to wait for the lift to arrive before you could get access to anywhere else in the hotel and at busy times it took a while for the lifts to arrive ! Not very well thought out we think.
The hotel's restaurant is nothing interesting. We had better expectations. And the views in the area are splendid, although boring by night. There are no things to do by night. No entertainment nor in the hotel nor outside. And the restaurants in the area open just for 1hour 30 or 2 hours for the lunch and the same for the dinner. Too short!!...you won't find all this inconveniences in the french side, in Chamonix just at 30 minutes driving.
Shuttle to the ski lifts and city center good breakfast nice and competent personnel (special mention to Alina @ reception) nice lobby bar service good restaurant
Road very close (but ok at night)
Ambiente abbastanza elegante e curato. Buona la cura dei particolari. Personale cortese e disponibile. Abbondante e varia la colazione.
Cucina del ristorante un po' pretenziosa e cara. Acqua della piscina fredda. Sauna e bagno turco non regolate correttamente.
Excellent service, good value
Could not find hotel on arrival in rain!
Everything was great. They had multiple shuttles to town, ski lifts, and train station. Everyone was friendly. Room was large, had good views and was clean and comfortable
The facilities and setting are beautiful. The property and lodging are beautifully maintained. The Residence design and amenities were high quality. The Residence has many conveniences including great location to key sites like the Aosta Valley, Castles and Mont Bianco - we traveled by car. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the spa staff were very friendly. All in all, simply breathtaking.
If staying in the Residence - it is recommended to purchase kitchen items to clean dishes - sponges and soap - all dishware is provided but it is difficult to clean them without these items. For international travelers, wash clothes are preferred but not available in most European lodging we visited.
We were very pleased with the hotel / appartment and the excellent staff, warm welcome and facilities - a first rate location and we would love to return
This hotel was excellent value and excellent for facilities- there is nothing we did not like about it
This property is excellent is almost every respect. The apartments are the best quality I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world and I have stayed din many – they have solid oak floors and have very high quality furnishing and bathroom throughout – top class!
Nothing in particular. However, if you are after a skiing holiday on Courmayeur, it is worth mentioning that the property is nowhere near the slopes/lifts but there is a free shuttle bus many times every day.
The rooms were big. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was an upgrade (originally we booked a studio).
We were not impressed by price of the hotel which we feel the quality does not match and is not in the center. The location is awful for going skiing. The gym was not included in the price- which was not indicated prior to booking. We had to ask if we could get a voucher to use it for free and that request was granted otherwise it would have been 14euro per person per day. Not really an issue for us but there was not a dishwasher.
